Professor Welch alias Professor Young formerly of Forsythe Montana was taken by Chief of Police McNiece on Wednesday at Sheriff Gierison s request on charges of obtaining money under false pretenses. Welch organized a band in Forsythe and collected funds from pupils for its promotion then fled to Beach with his wife and two children leaving part unpaid. If he repays the money he may be dismissed but allowed to resume organizing a junior band at Beach. A severe hail storm also damaged crops tributary to Belfield yesterday afternoon.
