Returns Not Properly Certified in County Division Case
Judge Templeton rules that county divisions Golden Valley and Slone failed. Six precinct returns Beach city Beach township Stecker Sentinel Butte McQuillan Saddle Butte were not properly certified, so canvassers must treat as no returns. If legal votes existed defendants failed to prove it. both propositions lost. A statement from attorney R M Andrews suggests forthcoming appeal to the North Dakota Supreme Court with expectation of reversal.
