Two Golden Valley boosters Die Young
J E Berg died March 25 in Madison Wisconsin from heart trouble. He was 45, born in and longtime Golden Valley booster, living at Beach in winter. He leaves a wife and siblings. Hance Murphy died recently at Mildred Montana after helping settlers move to the valley. He leaves a wife three daughters and two sons.

Last Thursday the Methodist Ladies Aid held a farewell for Mrs. W. W. Whipple former Aid president in Beach then Chama where Mr. Whipple farms and runs business. The couple plan to settle near Rose and continue church and cooperative work. Mrs O S Hougen opened a millinery shop with temporary quarters in the Grayson building after arriving from Beach with a shipment of millinery goods.

Willard Triumphs In Havana Heavyweight Title Fight

E R Orchard state examiner arrived in Beach with an assistant to review city books and has made a report filed with the governor. Beach shows outstanding warrants and bonds totaling 147 104 99 dollars. the figures differ from City Auditor Hudson due to prior misstatements and lack of system. The old administration left funds merged in a general pot and warrants drawn against it, violating laws. A new system will be launched and monthly audits between auditor and treasurer mandated. Couple Weds At Farm Home In Green Valley
