The International Basin lies at the head of Spillimachene River about 80 miles from Carbonate Landing, over 8000 feet in elevation with cliffside quartz ledges and lacey veins. J L Spink et al of Toronto hold a Crown granted claim 1500 by 5500 feet at 8400 feet, near glaciers and dangerous routes.

Lip Johnston finds copper ore at Bugaboo triggering a rush to Windermere and other new discoveries appear across the district.

A Windermere search follows the disappearance of Harry Mitchell Innes and prospector P Dooley after a lake crossing from Athalmer. Great Mineral Discovery Near Toby Creek Property Bonded

A rich ore discovery along Toby Creek, bonded to W. G. Mitchell-Innes, is reported at $100,000. The vein, sand carbonate, shows 40 feet exposed with ongoing strength and value, with assays of 7 to 60 percent lead, 40 to 150 ounces silver, and $14 to $15 gold.
