Curling Week Sees Eight Rinks Compete In Open Event

Eight rinks chosen to play as curling competition opens on Wednesday afternoon Barber defeats McDermot by six points in the first draw. McNeish beats Warren by four in the evening. Two more games Greene versus McDonald and Woodley versus Rae remain in the first draw. Winners advance to later rounds leading to a final. Spectators fill the venue as interest grows for a potential larger-scale event.
