Confidential B C Opens With Winter Stock and Furnishings

New building and interiors described as newly built and furnished. Heating throughout with hot air. First class table and bar stocked with wines liquors and cigars. A carload of winter fruit varieties arrived including Northern Spys Baldwins Russets Greenings. Boots and shoes department stocked for winter with rubbers overshoes moccasins at low prices.

Xmas Goods at Hudson’s Perfume Sets and More

A long list of holiday goods offered by Hudson’s includes manicure sets from 1.50 to 12, shaving kits 2 to 7, as well as leather and plush dressings, vases, toilet cases, silver trays, brushes, and photo frames. The ad touts mail order service with careful attention and a selection of French and German perfumes.

Curling season opens with President vs Vice President match

The curling rink at Golden, on the Canadian Pacific line, opened Monday and drew lively crowds as greenhorns showed promise. Plans include a President versus Vice President game with various matches to follow and a rainbow rain o shanter prize for the Captain, while a reputable girl seeks a general servant post in Banff from M. E. Jacques.

Golden Gun Club Holds Its First Annual Dinner

The Golden Gun Club held its first annual dinner at the Columbia House on Friday night in a sociable gathering of about 30 guests. President led to the head of the table and toasts followed after thanks to the Giver of all good things. Harry Connacher returned from a southern trip to hearty cheers as songs and speeches filled the evening until the wee hours.
