Presbyterianism in Gloucester 50th Anniversary
An account of the Gloucester district Presbyterian Church history marks the 50th anniversary on October 16, noting 1895 as the area’s first Presbyterian services. It traces early ministers, parish formation, key figures like Rev. Donald Ross, community support from the Syndicate and Laur ie family, and the 1909 sanctioned charge status. The piece highlights church buildings, renovations, and ongoing efforts to stabilize finances and sustain Sunday School and Guild activities.
