Obituary Henry A Stevenson prominent Gloucester dairyman
Henry Arthur Stevenson died in Maitland Hospital on Friday. a leading Jersey dairyman in the Gloucester district for much of his life. He bred cattle under the Milrai stud and purchased from noted breeders across New South Wales and Victoria. He conducted a successful dispersal sale at Barrington last year and held prized stock including Eugloria Crnothia, champion at Gloucester Show 1846. He also owned Holstein stock and loved horses, racing them at Gloucester and nearby. The funeral was in Gloucester with service at St Pauls Church of England and burial in Gloucester cemetery.
