Dairy conference debates standardizing grader role
The Dairy Factory Managers and Secretaries Association of New South Wales endorsed appointing a Commonwealth Standardizing Grading Officer to restore the Kangaroo butter brand’s London prestige. Mr. A E Sweaney urged one man to lead uniform grading, arguing for Mr. Wigan’s experience in Australia and London. Some delegates favored standardizing manufacture, but the vote was unanimous in favor of the single officer plan.
