Labor Party Proposals for Constitutional Change Debate

The State Publicity Meet for the Country Party outlines three constitutional schools of thought in Australia. State Righters seek to preserve state rights, Unificationists aim to abolish state parliaments for federation, and New Blaters promote central powers while adding states to decentralise governance. The Country Party of New South Wales represents the latter approach amid broader calls to adapt the Constitution to modern needs.
