By way of reverse lease lead Australia to August 31 last had supplied 148,298 tons of food to the U S Forces. This figure includes 31,472 tons of meat, 28,1438 tons of canned foods, 25,069 tons of vegetables and fruit, 22,7687 tons of biscuits and cereals, 14,732 tons of potatoes, 5766 tons of sugar, 5838 tons of butter.
