Cruelty to Cattle Man Charged at Quirindi Court
In Quirindi last week Mr Solomon pleaded for Charles Tsane Chapman of Tinonee Manning River on cruelty charges for trucking 119 head of young cattle from Wingham to Parkes in mixed vans. Many animals were injured during transit with 26 backs and hips rubbed, 16 down, and six left behind. one later died. Chapman faced a £12 fine plus 16 costs or six weeks hard labor.
