A pretty wedding took place at St John s Church of England Stroud on June 22 with Rev Stretch uniting Hilda Grace Muddle and Jack Radford. Hilda wore mastic crepe de chine with arum lilies and white stocks while bridesmaid Miss Jean Phillips wore nattier blue crepe de chine. Best man was Arthur Greenham. couple left for Newcastle after a reception, receiving gifts and cheques.
