The Yankee Robinson Show presented a vast traveling exhibition with two ring ch eng and a mix of animals including four camels and dromedaries, a dozen performing dogs, 285 horses and ponies, and about 450 handlers. The main tents spanned 300 feet with multiple side shows and a cooking tent, needing 2600 pounds of meat daily, drawing large crowds and daily relocations. The program highlighted women performers, wire walkers, and inclined rope acts, though some Japanese performances drew less praise.
Mr. Bartlett of Fallon Nevada visits his parents Mr and Mrs J W Bartlett and sister Mrs WAL Philpton in their city. Henry Bartlett of Clayton will accompany them. The trio plans to be away about two weeks.
A Glenwood driven drive by May or Frank Donelam cut 4th of July deaths and injuries sharply. In 1903 U S fatalities reached 466 with 3982 injuries, while this year 32 deaths and 1131 injuries were recorded. Nine of the dead were from Pennsylvania and thirteen of the injured were young girls. Strong city ordinances in Boston Newark Milwaukee and Chicago are credited with the drop.
