Robinson Show Disaster Delays Yankee Performance
The Yankee Robinson show faced a typhoon in Albia last Friday as the main tent collapsed during exhibitions. Twelve year old Ed ward McConville died from a skull fracture. a ticket seller suffered fractured ribs and internal injuries, with thirteen others slightly injured. No wild animals escaped. The wreck was repaired and the tour continued toward the next venue. The show is scheduled to perform Thursday in the next city.

Devastating Fire Destroys Large Swath Of Hot Springs
A severe blaze in Hot Springs Arkansas on September 5 swept six to seven blocks by a mile, destroying 125 business houses and 700 dwellings displacing about 2500 people. Major losses hit schools churches hotels and utilities with no lives reported lost though damage neared 1.4 million dollars.
