Man Leads Pony Cart From Grimwood to Ida Grove
J. B. Eicherley led a neat Shetland pony hitched to a cart through Grimwood Tuesday evening en route from Shenandoah to Ida Grove. He said the pony belongs to his son Iril, who hurried home by train to enter school at Ida Grove. The son once drew a prize for a campaign in an eastern publication. The pony is described as small and sturdy with good feet and limbs and is valued at 195.

The Des Moines campaign committee adjusted the meeting to 12 30 but few learned of the change and a small crowd gathered.
