KNOP-BOYD NUPTIALS FRIGAY IN CO. BLUFFS One Friday November 25th at 7 00 p m in the St Pauls Lutheran Church in Council Bluffs Evelyn Knop oldest daughter of Mr and Mrs Louis J Knop of Malvern became the bride of Max Boyd son of Mr and Mrs Fred Boyd of Percival The Rev Paul Grahm of the St Johns Lutheran church performed the ceremony The bride wore a white slipper satin dress with a flowing train and fitted bodice Her bouquet was an orchid and white stephanus Kathleen Knop sister of the bride was junior bridesmaid Nancy Knop of Hastings was flower girl Robert Nahkunst of Hamburg was best man Alfed Knop of Hastings and Keith Penny of Percival were ushers Laster Knop was soloist singing O Perfect Love and Oh Promise Me accompanied by Mrs Robert Nahkunst Following the ceremony a reception was held in the Community Building in Malvern to a large number of friends Mrs H L Brown of Hamburg poured Mrs Otto Mater of Seward Nebr served the cake and Mrs Howard Green of Council Bluffs presided at the punch bowl Lucile Knop of Hastings had charge of the guest book The bride graduated from the Malvern high school last year salutatorian of her class Since then she has been employed in Omaha The groom graduated from Percival high school and attended Peru State Teacher College and the Lincoln School of Commerce They will reside on a farm near Percival and be at home there after December 19
