Clyde Rynerson elected cashier of Farmers State Bank, replacing the deceased W B Oaks. Mrs Oaks to assist temporarily. John Pullman’s store sale yielded bids. Frank Richards won the range for 45.60. Sawyer moved his jewelry into a new large room south of the old location. Mrs R M McClure returns from hospital in Missouri Valley, feeling better. A A Crosby departs for Washington DB CG. Crosby was among Silver City’s first citizens. friends bid him safe travels. E H Van Kirk, C G Greenwood, and Mrs J J Maurath visited Burlington Junction to try waters at the sanitarium. Webster Navis and wife depart for Illinois for months with relatives.
Thanksgiving social and supper hosted by Pacific Junction lodge No. 110 I O O F in Pacific Junction. All members and families and neighboring lodges invited. Social upstairs 8 to 10 p.m. then optional dance in the hall below.
