A Faithful Daughter Edna Meyers Dies at 16

Edna Meyers sixteen year old daughter of Mr and Mrs Will Meyers died Friday after weeks of typhoid fever. Her father served a five year term for shooting with intent to kill at cards and is to be released this week. Edna helped beautify the home with money earned by her labor and her death follows a long period of dutiful support. The funeral was held Sunday at 2 pm at the family residence with Rev Lucas of the Christian church officiating.

A Pioneer Gone to Rest

Marriah Morrow born Sept 6 1826 moved with parents to Mills County early in life. She married Jessie H Buckingham about 1851 and settled on the old farm south of Glenwood. After his death in 1879 she lived on the farm until moving to her son A J Buckingham's home. A faithful Friends church member at Burr Oak, she died after a brief illness and funeral was held at Waubonsie church conducted by Rev LeRoy Hawker.

Orla Davidson Dies at 17 in Council Bluffs

Orla Davidson son of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Davidson died in Council Bluffs on Saturday. The remains were brought to Glenwood for interment. He formerly worked here and at Ferguson grocery. Funeral held Monday with Rev. Chas. Fry of the Latter Day Saints church of Tabor presiding. Orlo was 17 on October 23, and had long suffered from spinal disease.
