Mills County Farm Bureau Plans Fourth of July Celebration
Mills County Farm Bureau board met last Saturday to map a countywide Fourth of July celebration to replace the usual picnic. Officers and directors, including Carter Wearin and J. W. Carter, discussed membership drives and township programs while women planned a five month clothing course and a Shepherd-Towner clinic. In Anderson and Oak townships, meetings set programs featuring music, recitations, and demonstrations, with Wearin and Schoening directing efforts.
