The American Sugar Refining company moves to develop beet sugar in Colorado with two new Boulder Weld Larimer Arapahoe Jefferson Morgan Washington and Logan county operations. Henry E Niese returned to New York after two weeks of study. Two companies were incorporated with a combined capital of 1 million dollars and options secured on lands for beet culture and refineries.
Des Moines Iowa March 24 the house showed impatience urging the senate to pass more house bills and ignore senate messaging until action is taken.
