Local Notes From Kinmey and City Visitors

Kinmey of Pacific June thom visited the city today and urged a visit to the millinery department. The Genie Ferrel place and Van Kirk house are mentioned with renovations. John Hopp excavates a cellar for his residence while plans to beautify the yard proceed. Wm Tugsch bought a horse and buggy in Omaha and drove them home Tuesday. Mr John Bruce of Red Oak attended the funeral of Aaron Burson and has relatives here. Omaha and Council Bluffs visitors, including Mr and Mrs Swope and many others, visited Tuesday. Mrs Pace returned from Elliott with daughters and Lassal Gillan accompanied her.

Emerson and area residents note wandering visits and travels

Emerson and surrounding towns report many residents traveling for church revival meetings, business, or family visits. Names include evangelist Inger, Jess Smith in Lincoln, Miss Anna Dunbar with Hastings relatives, and Mark Tennent of Chicago. Several locals visit Malvern, Bedford, and Omaha for visits or medical care. Iva Salmons underwent an appendectomy in Omaha and is recovering.
