In Indianapolis March 19 before immediate family members the reading of General Harrison's last will and testament will occur prior to probate. The will is kept in a safety deposit box at the Fidelity National Bank with other private papers. W H H Miller, the family legal adviser, plans to file the will within days. The will was written by Harrison shortly before his departure for Paris in 1899. its provisions are not known.

A north bound passenger train on the Keokuk Des Moines and Ruthven branch of the Chicago Rock Island Pacific derailed two miles north of Grand Junction Iowa. The wreck occurred while the train was traveling forty miles per hour and all the cars overturned with most passengers badly hurt.

Mexican War Veteran Wade Dies at 86 in Des Moines
George W. D. Wade of Eddyville aged 86 is dead after a life marked by a Mexican War service. A native of Kentucky he enlisted in the First Illinois Infantry at Quincy Illinois as a private in Company A and served about one year before his passing. His funeral was held at the Iowa Soldiers Home in Marshalltown.
