Pythian Sisters Picnic At Smouse Home

Despite unseasonably chilly weather a large number of Pythian Sisters Temple members attended a picnic at T. L Smouse home on the city’s north edge last Thursday evening. Men and boys enjoyed horseshoe pitching while women spread a cafeteria style feast on the front lawn. A bonfire warmed the air as dusk settled and the Pythian orchestra played selections.
