Oratorical Contest At Opera House At Glenwood

Friday evening the opera house was filled with school patrons and lovers of literature for the oratorical contest among Glenwood High School pupils. Judges were Rev W N Graves Prof Gragan and Dr Sidwell. Fred Dean won first in oratorical class with Wayne Bogart second, Corinne Record first in dramatic, David Barnett second, Helen Fleming first and Jessie Wright second in humorous, Miss Cunningham read, and Miss Schaible absent. Dean will represent Glenwood at district and inter county contests. Corinne Record also cited.
