Board of Supervisors Open First Session of 1906
The board met Monday and Tuesday, adjourned Wednesday, to resume next week for the semi annual settlement with the county treasurer. Bogart elected chairman and superintendent of the county poor farm with Gus Travis steward. The board visited Oak township to inspect a washed road near Mineola. Travis re elected steward. farm improvements include a gasoline engine. An epidemic reduced hog numbers by about ninety but finances remain solid. Medical appointments assigned: Dr Lyons for Oak Center Glenwood district at 150 dollars annually, Dr Lyons for St Marys Plattsmouth Lyons at 120, Dr J R Scott for Silver Creek White Cloud Rawles at 44, Dr Whitnall for Anderson Deer Creek Indian Creek Emerson Hastings Henderson at 75, Dr R A Moore for Ingraham Silver City at 45.
