A home wedding at the Vi B. Vances near Farragut Iowa joined Jessie Ellen Day daughter of Mr and Mrs G J Wilcox West Oak township and Charles William Day of Masters Colorado in marriage Rev Burton Marsh officiated with Miss Mabel Samelson at the organ. The couple will establish a home in the west part of town amid well wishers and a bounteous supper followed the ceremony.

Western Litchfield Dies at Home in Grine Wood

Western Litchfield died Saturday at his home in Grine wood southwest part of town. He was 73, born October 3, 1836 in Farmeraville township Fulton county IL. Married Emeline Hard November 20, 1857. Ten children born, four daughters and three sons died in infancy. survived by wife, three daughters Fannie McCurdy Etta May Eva Stout and three sisters. Funeral held January 3, 1910 at 2 p.m. at the Christian church conducted by Minister J C Harris. He was a former successful farmer, lover of good horses, long resident of Glenwood. The Glenwood Business College reopened after holidayvacation with higher attendance, Professor McAdams reports.
