Dry goods stock sold to Lincoln partners in new firm

The Heinsheimer dry goods and clothing stock passed to G. L. Dunn and C. L. Dudley of Lincoln Nebraska. The new enterprise will be incorporated a general merchandising business with a grocery department added later. They are inventorying stock and will announce opening date soon.

Silver City WSCS Study Club Meets Feb 9

The Study Club of the WSCS will hold its first meeting at the home of Mrs. Dora Goos on Thursday February 9 at 2 o'clock. The topic is Japan. Meet at the post office at 1 45. All are welcome.

Visit at Mercy hospital and Prairie Creek teachers home

Mr and Mrs Kenneth Johnson visited Sunday afternoon with Mrs Paul Rydberg and infant daughter at Mercy hospital in Council Bluffs. Mrs Rydberg is the former Frances Canfield. Miss Irene Maddocks, teacher of the Prairie Creek School, entertained her pupils and their parents Thursday evening at her home. Deane Maddocks and Bob Kruse left Saturday morning on a trip to Texas.
