300 Children Needing Homes Initiative Appeal
A Iowa state session authorized a child welfare department under the board of control to oversee child placing agencies and homes. The two state institutions at Davenport and Toledo care for around 8,000 children annually, with over 300 ready for family homes aged up to 16. Interested families should contact Major Edwin H.
