Iowa Pure Food Law Preparations Across State
Iowa wholesale grocers and manufacturers prepare to comply with a new pure food law. Partial effect begins July 1 this year with full effect by July 1, 1907. The dairy and food commissioner will inspect ingredients and issue bulletins naming pure and impure brands. Grocers have until July 1, 1907 to clear old stock. Public notices will inform shoppers of purity, while manufacturers may ship goods for other states but must keep separate brands for Iowa. Manufacturers pledge to produce only conforming goods for Iowa.

Will Build Big Seminary in Oska loosa Iowa
DES MOINES The State Holiness association began the drive to create a large religious seminary in Iowa with a $30,000 college building contract at Oska loosa on a 650 acre tract donated to the association. The project will be the first in a planned series of buildings and is to be completed by September 1 and ready for occupancy September 11. About 500 pupils have already enrolled for attendance.
