Glenboro Fair Highlights 9th Annual Show and Ribbons
The Ijlenbero Agricultural Society hosted its ninth Glenboro Fair on June 23 with draft horse, dairy cattle and belgians winning various classes. Budd Brothers captured multiple awards for Glenboro harness entries while McLaren Treherne led percherons and agricultural horses. Cypress River, Glenboro and Robson entries earned top honors in poultry and dairy sections. A local baseball final saw Cypress River beat Glenboro Bear Cats, and a horseshoe tournament crowned Cary Snart and others. A community dance closed the day as Jim writes musings on fair outcomes and town life.
