The Glenboro Agricultural Society hosts its 60th annual exhibition on Friday June 23 featuring livestock, farm produce, baking, school work, and machinery displays. Entertainment includes Shetland ponies , baseball roostball and a Midway for all ages.
The Rural Municipal ity of South Cypress holds its fifth meeting in Glenboro on June 13. Minutes approve last meeting, accept Charles Steer offer for Nyot Lots 9 and 10, Block 1, Stockton, approve Finance Committee accounts, and adjourn to meet July 11.
After the June service Glenboro Lutheran Church honored G. J. Oleson for 25 years as Board of Trustees president and 22 years as Sunday School director. Speakers praised his service to Argyle Parish and the Icelandic Lutheran Synod, and he received a leather traveling bag while Mrs. Oleson received flowers.
Rev and Mrs W R Donagh attend the Manitoba Conference in St Giles Church. Mrs R N Rawlings returns from Victoria with Mrs Carefoot and Joy McGraw of Regina. Hospital Aid meets June 26 at Glenboro United Church, moved to the fourth Monday. Wogggdbine Ladies host a surprise shower for bride-elect Gwer Johnson. St Stephen's W A held a spring tea and home cooking sale netting over 80 dollars.

Grey Goose owned by B McLachlin of Stockton and Claude Dale owned by George M Mooney of Wawaheka win heats in the 2.17 Class while racing outlook remains mixed with financial strains and shifting staff at local schools.
