Glenboro Fair Readies 60th Annual Exhibition

The Glenboro Agricultural Society hosts its 60th annual exhibition on Friday June 23 featuring livestock, farm produce, baking, school work, and machinery displays. Entertainment includes Shetland ponies , baseball roostball and a Midway for all ages.

Rural Council Minutes Fifth Meeting Adopts Offer on Stockton Lots

The Rural Municipal ity of South Cypress holds its fifth meeting in Glenboro on June 13. Minutes approve last meeting, accept Charles Steer offer for Nyot Lots 9 and 10, Block 1, Stockton, approve Finance Committee accounts, and adjourn to meet July 11.

Oleson Honored by Lutheran Church Members

After the June service Glenboro Lutheran Church honored G. J. Oleson for 25 years as Board of Trustees president and 22 years as Sunday School director. Speakers praised his service to Argyle Parish and the Icelandic Lutheran Synod, and he received a leather traveling bag while Mrs. Oleson received flowers.
