School Elections and Awards Mark End of Year Highlights
Elections were held for the 1983-84 Student Council with Lisa Johnson and Jacquie East winning president and vice president. The Panther Press debuts its second issue. Awards covered Home Economics, Shops, Graphics, Farm Shop, and more. A fastball tournament, driver education, and final exams announced with Graduation events set for June 30 at the Kinsmen Hall and School Theatre.

The board also confirms driver education rollout for ages 15 to 14 as fall 1983 and accepts health plan voluntary enrollment with Manitoba Blue Cross.

The Glenboro Agricultural Society opens its annual Fair on July 5 and 6 with a 7 to 10 a.m. vegetable and crafts exhibit, a 10 a.m. Pony Club achievement event, 7 p.m. M G R A Horse Show, pancake breakfast, pet show, girls softball, cattle show, and a pork barbecue with awards and pony rides.
