Negotiations Break Off Between School Board and Teachers
The Tiger Hills School Division No. 29 and Local Teachers Association ended formal talks begun February 19 1992 with a conciliator sought. The union sought 4 percent raise over one year while the board offered 13 and a quarter percent first year and 2 percent second year. Remaining disputes include personal leave salary deductions sick leave lay off noon hour and violence protection with several article changes proposed by the board and rejected by the association.

Glenboro High School Receives Canada Scholarships Citation

Bring a Buddy Night and Fashion Show Shine at Glenboro
Glenboro Ladies Golf Club held a Bring a Buddy Night on June 3 1992 tied to a fashion show. Attendance rose from about 80 golfers to over 140 as models from Souris and Glenboro showcased spring and summer garments. Lauren Somersall Daphne Fallis and Verna Mowat commended volunteers and thanked Lauren Daphne and Verna for the display.
