Glenboro Students Excluded From National Patrol Jamboree

Ottawa hosted a National School Safety Patrol Jamboree from May 24 for three days but Glenboro School patrol members were not invited. School officials say Glenboro has participated in the program for over twenty years and received no invitations or large event rewards.

The Holland Open Old Time Fiddling Contest runs June 15 to 17 1990 at the Holland Community Centre. Calvin Vollrath and Ontario guests Bytown Steppers Karen McIntyre Rene King Cathy McIntosh perform with Friday night 8 pm show and Old Time Dance The 2 pm Saturday fiddling contest covers Pre Novice to Senior classes plus Junior Open Jigging contests Sunday features Open Champion and Twin Fiddles with 2 pm start Supper pancake breakfast and jam sessions offered across the weekend.
