Crop Insurance Reminder for Aircraft Seeding In Manitoba
Agriculture Minister Jim Downey urges farmers using aircraft seeding to report to the Manitoba Crop Insurance Corporation to obtain coverage. Insured farmers may seed now and report upon emergence for on site inspection, or lose eligibility. The minister noted 800 new applications and a net insured decline of 1,100 as land consolidations reduce the total to about 14,400 farmers.
