Mild Weather Helps Santa Claus Parade in Glenboro
The Kinsmen Club of Glenboro held its annual Santa Claus Parade on December 4 with 19 entries over three blocks. Fire Chief Bill Jamieson led the event featuring Glenboro Fire Department units, a variety of floats including Smurfland’s winning entry, and Santa at the end. prizes went to Smurfland and ee & L. Motors with honourable mentions for several groups. Candy was handed out at the theatre followed by a kiddie matinee.

Nesbitt 4-H Club Serves Seniors with Christmas Banquet
Nesbitt 4-H Club hosted a December banquet for area senior residents. Members and parents cooked and served the meal, then performed a talent program amid Christmas decorations and carols. Thirty six guests attended, including newcomers, in a Community Service Project effort led by the club.

Writers Chosen by Judge for Alberta Poetry Yearbook
