City Retires Paving Bond Indebtedness
The City of Glen Rose made final payment of 2000.00 on pavement bonds, completing 40000.00 issued in 1948 to pave all city streets. Mayor Walter Ernst notes the hard topped streets have benefited residents and visitors. Glen Rose remains one of the few cities its size with all streets paved.

Local Man Indicted On Forgery Charge
Otis Bud Moore of this city was indicted by the 52nd District Court Grand Jury on two counts of forgery and passing worthless checks. The forged checks for 20 dollars each bore the name Hub Gaither of Paluxy and were drawn on the First National Bank here. Gaither and Osborn were witnesses for the state. Trial date not set. Moore released on four thousand dollars bonds.

A repeat airing of The Glen Rose Dinosaurs on KRLD-TV Channel 4 Dallas is set for Sunday afternoon Oct 10 from 3 to 3 30. The 30 minute program, filmed by KRLD in Glen Rose six miles away, features Trachodon and Brontosaurus footprints, a prehistoric dagger toothed killer, fossils and local artifacts.
