Mrs. Mattie Pruitt Buried in Memorial Service
Funeral services for Mrs. W. B. Pruitt known as Mattie 94 were held at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. John Hutcheson officiating. She died in Fort Worth Wednesday evening after a lingering illness born in Cleburne in 1874 and was the daughter of James and Susan Holder, married Dr. W. B. Pruitt in 1891.

4 H Riding Club Overnight Trail Ride
Four teen riders plus 29 youths participated in an overnight trail ride from the rodeo arena to the Turner Ranch on the Brazos River area. They returned after a 70 mile ride with a vesper service and elected new officers including Gary Boren as president and Kenneth Wood as vice president.
