Two Men Fined in Federal Court in Waco
Lawrence Henry Hauk of Glen Rose received a 500 dollar penalty and six months suspended, plus 150 dollars fine and two years unsupervised probation for possession of a still in Somervell County. Judge Oliver J. Covey longtime Somervell County resident died Friday March 9 at Parkland Hospital Dallas. Services were held Sunday 2:00 p.m. First Methodist Church with Rev. George M. Greebon directing. Covey born March 27 1880 in Missouri moved to Collin County then Oden Texas and served as county judge from 1928 to 1940. Survivors include his widow three sons Thurman Allan Terry and four daughters and 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Pallbearers listed.
