David Collis Williams son of Mr and Mrs Collis Williams of Walnut Springs earned a B A in Physics at the May 29 commencement in Daniel Meyer Coliseum Fort Worth He is a member of Sigma Pi Sigma fraternity.
Mrs Mary Lou Apello 43 of Arlington died Sunday in a Houston hospital. Funeral services were held in Arlington and graveside services in Hico. She is survived by a brother Charles F Dunn of Glen Rose.
The Army explains that finishing high school boosts enlistment offers. A nongrader gets on the job training with guaranteed options in writing, while a high school graduate can choose actual technical schooling. If ungraduated, diploma help is available after enlistment, but finishing school first is advised.

Lindsey Enderby of Gainesville is selected as Young Texan of the Month for June by 8000 Opti mist Club members of Texas and the Troy W. Post Foundation. Enderby, a top student and athlete, will enroll at Southern Methodist University to study law and business administration. He receives the Troy W. Post Award and becomes eligible for three monthly scholarships. He was chosen from hundreds of nominees by a panel led by Supreme Court Justice Tom C. Clark.
