Charles W. Gibbs announces Glen Rose Elementary will begin kindergarten sessions Wednesday January 12. Classes run 8 15 a m to 2 30 p m Monday through Friday with bus students until 3 30 p m. Pre registrations total 55. parents should register at the principal's office and bring birth certificates immunization records. A physical exam is required and vaccines for rubella measles polio diphtheria pertussis and tetanus are mandated by Texas law. Teachers will be Mrs Jack Cathey and Ms Jeanne Carlat.

Traffic Signal Light Planned at Key Intersection
District Engineer J R Stone announced a new traffic signal will be installed at the Highway 67 and Farm Road 201 intersection in Glen Rose to regulate morning and evening traffic for the nuclear power plant site. The light will be removed after plant construction completes, tentatively in 1983. Local officials welcomed the safety measure at a notoriously dangerous junction.
