A. A. Houghtelling Dies In Memphis
News reached this city of the death of A A Houghtelling at the Veterans Hospital in Memphis Tennessee. He was a paraplegic World War II veteran who had been transferred from McCloskey Veterans Hospital in Temple where he had been a patient for over a year. Funeral arrangements were not available at press time.

Local Youth Fractures Skull In Cleburne Mishap
Master Ricky Sandoval four year old son of Mr and Mrs Hector Sandoval sustained a fractured skull after a fall at the courthouse in Cleburne Thursday of last week. He was released Monday night and is at home with his family and is doing fine sporting a black eye as a memento.
