Tigerettes Extend Win Streak in Loop

Texas Highway Commission awards contracts for safety lighting and flashing beacon signals in the Fort Worth district. In Glen Rose two bouncing ball beacons will replace an old signal at SH 144 and FM 201, and another will be installed at US 67 and SH 144 northeast of town. DPS Patrolman Beek Starts One Man Texas DPS Unit
Patrolman Barney Beek and family moved to the area last week and began operating a new one man Texas Department of Public Safety unit here. He previously served eight years with the DPS in Gonzales. The Boeck family includes Ann and two children Jamie and Jim. They reside in the Kenneth Jones house on Highway 67 and are natives of Bandera. Jamie will finish her junior year at Gonzales High School before joining her parents here.
