Farmers expect benefits for peanuts and pastures as they monitor cloud formations for more rain. Burglars Hit Two Local Firms In County
Sheriff Speck Strawn reported Friday night burglaries at Raymond Stewart Station & Grocery in Nemo and Bill Pruitt Feed Store near the courthouse. Thieves entered front door after breaking a plate glass panel at Nemo and gained a back window entry at the feed store, taking meat, notions, cigarettes, cigars, and some change. No arrests had been made as of Wednesday morning.
