The Tiger Quarterback Club will meet in the high school library at 7 30 p m. All members are urged to attend. Officers will be elected and football season plans for this fall will be discussed.

T. F. Crawford of Clifton will become Central Division manager for Community Public Service Co succeeding C. P. Coston who retires at the end of November according to company president C. L. Cooke. Crawford began with the utility in 1947 and has served as serviceman Clifton manager and Division Sales Manager. Coston has led the Central Division since 1941 and will be honored at a later employee dinner.
Paul Beckworth, minister of the Glen Rose Church of Christ, announces a gospel meeting at the local church from Sunday night through Friday night. Daily services start at 8 p.m. except the opening service at 6 p.m. Topics include The Misunderstood God The Misunderstood Christ The Misunderstood Bible The Misunderstood Christian The Misunderstood Church The Misunderstood Teenager A Youth Night with refreshments and fun is planned for local teens.
