Postmaster Allen Rich announced today that applications are being accepted and an examination will be given to establish a register of eligibles from which future substitute rural carrier of record vacancies in the Gladewater post office will be filled. Applications must be submitted before Sept. 30, 1977.

The event runs to Oct 4 with services at the Festival Center and draws 78,300 members at 12 U.S. sites plus thousands more at six Canadian sites and abroad including South Africa and Australia. Garner Ted Armstrong will attend the Big Sandy site on Wednesday at 2 p.m. with other U.S. sites listed.
