Pair released in robbery case in Longview
Two Longview men Rickey William Jackson and Charles Davis were released from custody after a March 1 aggravated robbery at Hunter Liquor Store in which $46.50 was taken. Witnesses failed to positively identify them in a lineup at Gregg County sheriff's office.

Robbery at Hawkins home leads to seven-hour ordeal
Mrs. Sims and Mrs. Busby survived a seven hour robbery attempt at the Sims residence in Hawkins. Robbers bound gagged Mrs. Sims and searched for bank access while cash diamonds and personal items were taken.
