City approves 701522 budget with raises and new projects
The city council approved a 1969-70 budget of 701,522 at a regular meeting, the highest in city history, funding a $6,000 airport appropriation, raising the library budget to 10,000, and creating a 40,000 reserve for a new bond issue.
