Pastor Harry Hunt Named New Leader at Friendship Baptist
Harry Bass Hunt Jr has accepted the pastorate at Friendship Baptist Church and will begin duties at Wednesday evening services. He and his wife Patricia Lou Blackwell, with son, plan to live in the Friendship community while he completes a Doctorate of Theology at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He earned a Masters of Divinity in 1968 after graduating Stephen F Austin State University in 1966 and previously pastored Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Jonesboro for two years.
